Our client is a leading science based global technology company who had recently created a brand-new innovation engine in Dublin, Ireland. This engine was the company’s first research and development centre which committed itself to optimizing the global technology, data security, and privacy operations of the company.
Structure Tone successfully tendered and was appointed as the project’s main contractor, assisting with design development, early procurement, and compliance with building regulation requirements.
The 14-week construction programme consisted of an office fit out that featured a reception and innovation hubs, differently sized conference rooms, huddle and collaboration areas, focus pods, open workspaces, a staff café, multiple tea stations, and other various facility and service zones. Construction involved modification of raised access floors, installation of plasterboard partitions, specialist joinery, glazing partitions, various vinyl and carpet floor types, acoustic wall and ceiling panels, manifestations and graphics, furniture installation, painting and decorating, various audio-visual elements, and M&E services. The M&E works included heating and cooling, ventilation, water services, power, data, access control, security, and fire alarms as well as emergency and feature lighting. Structure Tone remained engaged during post-occupancy, assisting with the client’s move and ensuring that they were happy with their new space.
The finished product was delivered on time and within budget. Both the design team and the client were delighted to see that their vision had been achieved to an exceptionally high standard.
